The Gillette City Council will host a One Percent Listening Session on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, beginning at 6:00 p.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall. The session will begin with a brief presentation from the City and then will be open for the public to share their thoughts and comments about the Optional One Percent Sales Tax.

The Optional One Percent is up for renewal this year and will appear on the General Election ballot for Campbell County voters in November. The City has again partnered with the Campbell County Board of Commissioners and the Town of Wright to administer a survey to determine funding priorities for the Optional One Percent funds, should the tax be approved again in November. Registered Campbell County voters can expect to receive their surveys in the mail by the end of July. Completed surveys can be returned by mail or dropped off at designated sites located throughout the community.
