Goleta Valley Library 50 Years at Fairview Celebration
Wear Gray to Celebrate Library Director Allison Gray’s Retirement

The Goleta Valley Library is an important community spot beloved by people of all ages. The City of Goleta is excited to celebrate its 50th year at the Fairview location (500 N. Fairview Avenue) with a special event THIS Saturday, March 11, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Join us in making more memories at this special location. The event also coincides with our long-time Library Director, Allison Gray, retiring at the end of March. To celebrate Allison, you can wear gray to the event in her honor.

Please watch our video invitation of Mayor Paula Perotte and Library Director Allison Gray inviting you to this special event: https://youtu.be/ejYrgOc4gHw. Also available in Spanish featuring the City of Goleta’s Spanish Engagement Specialist here: https://youtu.be/R41dx-PKkwY.

We have so many great things planned:

- Family friendly activities, including a scavenger hunt

- Music by library staff member Nicole Lvoff

- Birthday toast and special tributes at 3:00 p.m.

- Signature frame signing

- Photo station

- “My Favorite Thing about the Goleta Valley Library” activity

-  Goleta Valley Library “Celebrating 50 Years” commemorative bookmark

We can’t wait to celebrate with you at 500 N. Fairview this Saturday, March 11, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and hear what you love about the Goleta Valley Library!
