Upcoming Pickleball, Tennis, Handball and Disc Golf Clinics

Parks and Recreation Month is underway and there are some great activities coming up that we don’t want you to miss out on. The City of Goleta has a fun-filled calendar of activities and events throughout July that includes free recreation clinics to help you learn a new activity or get better at one you already enjoy. View the calendar in English or Spanish.

We hope you will join us for one of our upcoming free recreation clinics:

- July 18, 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. – Intro to Pickleball at Goleta Community Center (5679 Hollister Avenue); Paddles will be provided. Tennis shoes are required. Space is limited! Contact [email protected] with your name and phone number to register.

- July 20, 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. – Tennis at Stow Open Space (Tennis Courts – 6200 Muirfield Drive); Bring your own tennis racket. Tennis shoes required. Contact [email protected] with your name and phone number to register.

- July 27, 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. – Handball at Jonny D. Wallis Neighborhood Park (170 S. Kellogg Avenue); Join us in learning how to play handball! Wear comfortable clothes and tennis shoes. Contact [email protected] with your name and phone number to register.

- July 29, 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. – Disc Golf at Evergreen Park (Evergreen Drive & Brandon Drive); Discs will be provided. Bring comfortable shoes to navigate grassy and dirt terrain. Contact [email protected] with your name and phone number to register.

Remember to protect yourself in the sun with a hat, sunscreen, plenty of water, and most importantly have FUN!
