City of Goleta - Reminder to Read the Newly Released June Monarch Press

Government and Politics

June 11, 2022

From: City of Goleta

The June Monarch Press is now available at www.GoletaMonarchPress.com. If you haven't had a chance to read it yet, we hope you will take some time to check it out. It's a great way to get informed about what is happening in Goleta. As we have seen, high fire season is here. We have had several close calls already (thank you to our incredible firefighters for their quick action to keep us safe!). Now is the time to get prepared and make sure you are signed up for alerts from the County and City.

Upcoming dates to know about include the June 15 Public Engagement Commission which includes a discussion on the City’s website refresh project, the June 28 City Council meeting where the Housing Element will be considered by Council, and the return of Goleta's Dam Dinner on August 20.

Lastly, we want to take this opportunity to acknowledge our #GoletaGraduates. Congratulations on your acheivement!

Thank you for taking time out to stay informed and for caring about YOUR City.
