Duties include:
-Answer, screen and route telephone calls
-Greet and direct City Hall visitors
-Send and receive faxes for all departments
-Assist the City Manager with coding invoices/entering accounts payable batches, preparing expense reports, copying/distributing agendas for meetings
-Assist other departments with clerical duties
-Assist the Finance Department with correspondence
-Assist Human Resources with filing and data entry
-Issue garage sale permits and pet tags
-Sort and distribute incoming mail
-Open and close City Hall
-Post outgoing mail
Qualifications:
-High school diploma or equivalent
-Positive attitude and a willingness to help others, which promotes a good relationship with citizens, co-workers, and the community
-Ability to communicate orally and in writing with City employees, City officials and the general public
-Computer knowledge - Microsoft Word and Excel
-One (1) year clerical experience
Salary & Benefits:
-$18.26 per hour

Hours:
-Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with a half hour lunch break
