Duties include:

Answer, screen and route telephone calls
Greet and direct City Hall visitors
Send and receive faxes for all departments
Assist the City Manager with coding invoices/entering accounts payable batches, preparing expense reports, copying/distributing agendas for meetings
Assist other departments with clerical duties
Assist the Finance Department with correspondence
Assist Human Resources with filing and data entry
Issue garage sale permits and pet tags
Sort and distribute incoming mail
Open and close City Hall
Post outgoing mail

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Positive attitude and a willingness to help others, which promotes a good relationship with citizens, co-workers, and the community
Ability to communicate orally and in writing with City employees, City officials and the general public
Computer knowledge - Microsoft Word and Excel
One (1) year clerical experience

Salary & Benefits:

$18.26 per hour

Hours:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with a half hour lunch break
