Renovations to the kennels at the Irving Animal Care Campus, 4140 Valley View Lane, begin Nov. 7. As a result of the renovations, Irving Animal Services (IAS) will be temporarily halting dog surrenders through Nov. 14 at the facility.

The temporary halt will allow IAS to maintain adequate space for dogs currently in its care throughout the construction period. 

In the event of an emergency owner surrender, IAS recommends residents call (972) 721-2256 to ensure accommodations are available.
