City Of Irving News Irving's Polar Express Rolls Into The City's Heritage District This Holiday Season

Join the City of Irving at the annual Holidays at Heritage events December 3-17, kicking off with a nighttime Irving Polar Express-themed parade on Saturday, Dec. 3 at 6 p.m. in the Irving Heritage District. After the lighted parade head over to Heritage Park, 217 S. Main St., to enjoy a festive celebration at 7 p.m. featuring the city’s iconic tree lighting, drone show, live reindeer, food vendors, holiday-themed crafts and a live musical performance by Midnight Soul Band. Attendees can take photos at a variety of lighted holiday props and even get a selfie with Santa Claus!

If Christmas lights get you in the holiday spirit, take a stroll through the 60,000-lighted trail at Centennial Park, 444 W. Second St., as well as the lighted décor at Heritage Park. Displays will be open from Dec. 3-27 from dusk to 10 p.m.
