City Of Irving - Seeking Public Input for Website Redesign

Government and Politics

February 25, 2023

From: City Of Irving

The current City of Irving website turns nine years old this year, and the Communications Department is planning a website redesign to enhance communication and access to information. The project includes the external facing city website, CityofIving.org, as well as the internal employee website known as Inet.

Public input is important to understanding how the new city website can best serve the community and Irving employees. Please take a few minutes to complete a brief online survey by visiting CityofIrving.org/Website. The survey is available in English and Spanish.

Survey responses will be accepted through March 5.

IRVING 360 ACADEMY GRADUATES – FOCUS GROUP

In addition to collecting public input via survey, a focus group of Irving 360 Academy graduates was held on Jan. 23. The participants were encouraged to familiarize themselves with the website and have an open discussion about:

-What they like about the current website

-What they don’t like about the website, and

-What big ideas or suggestions would make the next website better

The focus group input, as well as survey results, will be used in the planning and development of the next City of Irving website.
