Notice is hereby given that the City of Lebanon, Missouri, General Municipal Election shall be held on April 4, 2023 to elect the following stated officials:

-One Councilman Ward 1 - 2-Year Term

-One Councilman Ward 2 - 2-Year Term

-One Councilman Ward 3 - 2-Year Term

-One Councilman Ward 4 - 2-Year Term

Those interested in filing for candidacy shall make application at the Office of the City Clerk. Filing dates are set to open December 6, 2022 @ 8:00 AM and close December 27, 2022 @ 5:00 PM. Filing fees are $3.00 per candidate. At the time of filing, a copy of a notarized affidavit declaring no delinquency of local and state taxes shall be provided to the City Clerk. The affidavit form can be found online at http://dor.mo.gov/forms/5120.pdf or may be picked up at the City Clerk’s Office during filing. It is the responsibility of the filer to submit the original affidavit to the Missouri Department of Revenue.

The Office of the City Clerk is located at City Hall, 401 South Jefferson. During the holidays, the Office of the City Clerk will be closed December 23rd and December 26th.

Councilman Qualifications: Must be at least 21 years of age, a citizen of the United States, a resident of the City for one year and a resident of respective Ward for six months preceding said election as required by State Law RSMo 77.060.
