PRIMARY DUTIES: Primary responsibilities: assists with various human resources (HR) programs (i.e., recruitment, hiring, selection, compensation, classification, payroll, etc.) including providing a high degree of confidential, technical and administrative support for the HR Manager and HR Director; coordinates/processes all worker’s compensation, unemployment insurance, and employment verification programs; and examines and/or prepares a variety of documents ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and City laws, rules, regulations, statutes, ordinances, policies, and procedures.

MINIMUM QAULIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources (HR) management, public or business administration, psychology or a related field PLUS two (2) years’ professional experience in HR/benefit administration or Associate degree in HR management, public or business administration, psychology or a related field PLUS four (4) years’ professional experience in HR/benefit administration. 

SUBSTITUTION: High school diploma or equivalent accreditation PLUS six (6) years’ experience in HR/benefit administration.
