Congratulations go out to winners of the 2022 Napa County Water Conservation TikTok Contest!

Congratulations go out to winners of the 2022 Napa County Water Conservation TikTok Contest! A 3-person team of Vintage High students took the top prize of $250. Kaliq Khan, Tanner Low, and Jamie Pope captured this year’s theme, Be Water-Wise, as their alter egos, KTJ Landscaping. Their 30-second video “Water Smarter“ points out front yard water-saving tips.

Congratulations also go out to this year’s 2nd place winner, also from Vintage High, Brandon Tennant, who will receive a $150 prize. His “Things You Can Do to Conserve Water” presents helpful indoor and outdoor conservation tips. The 3rd place prize of $100 goes to fellow Vintage High students Sofia Lopez and Susana Nuno for “Conserving Water: Landscape Edition.” This seventh annual video contest was opened up to 6th–12th graders. Contest sponsors include the Cities of Napa, American Canyon, St. Helena, and Calistoga, the Town of Yountville, Napa County, and the Napa County Resource Conservation District. Final judging was conducted by conservation staff from the agencies. Full contest details and the top videos from all seven years can be viewed online at www.napawatersheds.org/videocontest.
