What To Do With Those Food Scraps?

Recycling food scraps is easier than ever with a kitchen compost pail! Store the container in your kitchen and fill it with food scraps that you can later dump into your green cart.

Remember: All food scraps, yard trimmings and soiled paper should go in your green cart. This includes:

- Used paper towels or napkins

- Greasy pizza boxes and paper bags

- Coffee grounds and tea bags

- Meat and bones

- Eggs and eggshells

- Wax paper and butcher paper

- Paper takeout boxes

- Sawdust and cork

- Wooden chopsticks and toothpicks
