Happy Labor Day, Napa
The City of Napa wishes you and your loved ones a very happy Labor Day!

In observance of the holiday, our offices will be closed on Monday, September 5. We will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, September 6.

Lane Closure Coming Up: Solano Ave from Mobile Lane to Salvador Ave.

PG&E will have a South bound closure on Solano Ave from Mobile Lane to Salvador Ave. from 9 AM to 5 PM starting September 6th through mid-November.
Southbound traffic on Solano will be detoured on to Hwy. 29 at Oak Knoll and back onto Solano at Salvador.
Northbound Solano will remain open at all times.

National Preparedness Month

In honor of National Preparedness Month, we are sharing ways you can practice good fire safety habits. Remember to:

- Properly dispose of cigarette butts 
- Keep outdoor grills 10 feet from your home 
- Don't burn a bonfire in a dry brush area 
- Ensure smoke alarms work properly

Smoke Detectors Now Accepted at Household Hazardous Waste Facility

Replacing your smoke detectors? Many smoke detectors contain a trace amount of radioactive material and are NOT accepted in the garbage or recycling. ?? The good news is that smoke detectors are now accepted at the Household Hazardous Waste Facility:
