Nicole Update:

-Charlotte County is now included in the Tropical Storm Watch area though we are out of the cone.  This is due to this system being somewhat messy and potential for impacts away from its center.

-Maximum sustained winds of 50mph moving NW at 8mph

-10 to 20 mph sustained winds forecasted for Charlotte County with gusts to 40 mph (Higher gusts are possible in bands)

-Elevated winds speeds can begin as early as 5pm Wednesday but most likely 1am Thursday.

-Rainfall totals are still expected in the 2” to 4” range, though threat has decreased over the last 12 hours

-3’ to 4’ below normal tides possible Wednesday and Thursday and 1’ to 2’ above normal Thursday night and Friday (High tides Charlotte Harbor Thursday 17:40 Friday 2:46am & 6:42pm)
