Starting Salary:      $109,312.42 - $135,600.00 Depending on Experience

The Job:

The City of Show Low is seeking a City Attorney with proven experience, education, skills, and character to excel as the city’s fulltime chief legal advisor to the City Council, City Manager and all city departments including boards and commissions.

The City of Show Low has a council-manager form of government.   The City Attorney reports directly to the City Council and also serves as a member of the city’s management team.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Applicants must possess a Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited school of law, have or be willing to obtain membership in the State Bar of Arizona. Experience in municipal law, land use law, prosecution of civil/criminal cases to enforce city ordinances and a comprehensive understanding of legal issues facing Arizona municipalities is desired.  Desired qualifications also include excellent communication/people skills, high ethical standards, and relevant management experience.
