The Show Low Police Department Regional Dispatch Center is currently accepting applications for the position of “Lateral” Communications Dispatcher. Currently, Show Low Police Department provides dispatch services for three police agencies and six fire/ems agencies.

Job Requirements to “qualify” for a Lateral Communications Dispatcher:
-Minimum of two years of law enforcement/fire dispatching experience 

-(this time does not include the amount of time spent in training).

-   Must successfully complete the Show Low Police Department’s testing process which includes:

-  Oral Board

-  Background Check

-  Polygraph

-  Psychological Testing

-  Medical/Drug testing 

Lateral Package:    

-   $500 after hire date

-   $1,500 after successful completion of training

-   $2,500 after successful completion of probation 

-   $3,000 after successful completion of second year after probation

Benefit Package:

-   Currently working a three and a half day work week
