Anna Atencio Named as Next City of Show Low Attorney
The Show Low City Council has appointed a successor for the City’s full-time City Attorney position, Anna M. Atencio.  She will replace Morgan Brown, who will become City Manager on February 1, 2023, upon the retirement of the current City Manager, Ed Muder.

Anna is a resident and attorney in the City of Show Low.  Anna comes to the City after a career in the Navajo County Public Defender’s Office, serving in the Public Defender’s Office for the past 11 years.  Anna previously worked as a prosecutor for Navajo and Apache Counties and in private practice. 

She graduated from Arizona State University with her Juris Doctorate in 1997.  Anna and her husband, Brad Carlyon, Navajo County Attorney, have two sons and have lived in Show Low for the last 24 years.
