Crew Rowing (Learn to Row)- for grades 8-12th, four days each session. There are four sessions offered during the weeks of 6/21-6/24 and 7/18-7/22. Choose between the 8am or 11am class. The rowing summer camp is perfect for high school teens who are interested in having fun, want to learn a new skill, keeping fit and being out on the water. There is no rowing experience necessary to participate, just an interest in rowing. Teens will start by learning in 4 and 8 person shells then working their way into doubles. The goal of this program is to introduce the basic mechanics of rowing, providing foundational skills, and build familiarity with boathouse life. It's perfect for all fitness levels, does not require any previous rowing experience, and is intended to be very hand-ons. This program is being offered through a partnership with the Regatta Point Community Sailing and Parks & Recreation! Cost is $225 Currently accepting registration.
