DEARBORN, MI – The Dearborn Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing adult male with mental health needs. 

Mohamed Omar is described as a 24 year-old male with dark hair, brown eyes, 5’6” tall, weighing approximately 100 pounds. He left his Dearborn home in the 2700 block of Akron on May 6 at approximately 11:30 p.m. and was last seen wearing a grey Champion sweatshirt and black Champion sweatpants.

Dearborn Police Chief Issa Shahin stated, “While we search actively, we are asking the community’s assistance in locating this young man and reunite him safely with his family.”
