Luring 101

Capture the Flag for Dogs

Luring 101 is for dogs - big and small, tall and short - who love to chase.  They take center stage in an enclosed 2,500 square foot lure course set-up to give pets a high-speed run that will thrill both pets and and pet loving guardians.  Additional fee applies.

Puppy Playground

All dogs are welcome to run, walk and strut in a 2,000 square foot dog park.  Great for your dog to have fun, play with other dogs and burn off energy.  So much fun to hang out with other pet parents and kibitz.

Repticon

Joining us for their 11th year is Repticon where you will see a showcase of hundreds of reptiles.  Experts will give advice and sell supplies and reptile products too.

Jim Masterson, author of the book Beyond Dog Massage, teaches The Masterson Method®.  Hear about Jim’s interactive approach to communicating with your dog.  Learn gentle bodywork techniques that will help your dog release tension and feel like a rock star.  The result is an effective method of bodywork that anyone can learn to use, to improve performance while at the same time opening new levels of communication and trust.

Dachshund, Corgi and Small Breed Races

The Doggie Derby is back for its 3rd year.  Dachshund races aka Wiener Dog Races where a family member, toy or treat will entice participants to dash to the finish line.  There are also races for Corgi’s and Small Breed Dogs, with prizes for all winners.  Pre-registration online is recommended.  Additional fee applies.

Dog agility is not only a fun sport but a great way to improve your dog’s confidence, focus and obedience skills.  Watch an educational agility show, followed by a free workshop for you and your dog to learn agility.

7:00 PM: Want Your Dog to Live Longer?

The Dog Aging Project

All dog lovers agree that the worst thing about dogs is they just don’t live long enough.  The Dog Aging Project seeks to learn more about dog health and aging through a long-term study.  Over 47,000 dogs are currently enrolled and more dogs are needed.  The goal is to learn how to help our canine friends live longer and healthier lives.
