Cardboard City
Ages 6 - 8
Monday, Feb. 19
9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
It's time to think creatively to ensure a brighter, healthier future. Design and build a city using something we have in abundance…cardboard! We will upcycle cardboard to construct buildings, bridges, and more. Using new, innovative tools for cutting cardboard safely, you can cut the parts you need to realize your design.

?Machine Design - A Close Look at Mechanics
Ages 6 - 8
Tuesday, Feb. 20
9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
A set of movements controls every mechanical device. Learn one of three classic arrangements to control the direction, speed, and shape of movement. After inventing a hand-cranked, single-movement machine, you will connect it to someone else's mechanical device. Get them to work together with a series of pulleys to combine movement and meaning.

Gears & Pulleys: The Mechanical Advantage
Ages 9 - 12
Tuesday, Feb. 20
9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Originally published in 1868, 507 Mechanical Movements by Henry T. Brown gave readers diagrams and descriptions of 507 mechanical movements that make up complex machinery.
