Livermore Valley Arts Executive Director Chris Carter Named One of the 2023 Alameda County Arts Leadership Award Recipients

Just about a week after its most successful gala fundraiser to date, Livermore Valley Arts is honored to share that the organization’s Executive Director, Chris Carter, has been named one of the 2023 Alameda County Arts Leadership Award recipients (District One). The Alameda County Arts Commission is pleased to recognize these seven individuals for their achievements and contributions impacting the arts community and residents of Alameda County. This exciting news marks two consecutive years that someone from the organization has been recognized by the Alameda County Board of Supervisors, as Visual Arts and Education Manager Anne Giancola was honored as a recipient of the same award (District Four) in 2022. “It is such an honor to be recognized in this way by the Board of Supervisors,” said Carter on this occasion. “To be acknowledged in such a profound way for sharing and serving our community through the Arts, it is such a tremendously joyful moment in both my professional and personal career, for both myself and for Livermore Valley Arts.”
