Give your baby a great start at this program featuring traditional verses, bouncing rhymes, board books and more. For babies up to 18 months with an accompanying adult. Registration required. No walk-ins. Registration will open six days prior to each storytime session. Register.

Hip Hop Pioneer DMC to Visit Library
June 8 at 6 p.m.
Darryl “DMC” McDaniels, a founding member of the hip hop group RUN DMC, will visit the library Wednesday, June 8 at 6 p.m. to talk about his children’s picture book, Darryl’s Dream, a story about finding confidence, facing bullies and celebrating yourself.
The program will include remarks and Q & A with DMC, a poetry slam, children’s dance performance and book giveaway (one per family) Register.
Co-sponsored by the City of Stamford, the Ferguson Library and Stamford Stands Against Racism, in partnership with 100 Black Men of Stamford, Inc., Champions of Philanthropy, Jackie Robinson Park of Fame Inc., the Mayor’s Multicultural Council of Stamford and @stamfordcommunity.
Tiny Art Show Exhibit at the Harry Bennett Branch
Opens Wednesday, June 15 at 4:30 p.m.
Artwork by kids and adults of all ages. Exhibit will be on display through June 30.

Earn Volunteer Hours by Reviewing Books
The Ferguson Library is offering volunteer hours to teens in grades 6 to 12 to write book reviews. Reviews will be featured on the library's Youth Instagram page and displayed with reviewed books at the library.
Teens may submit up to two book reviews per week. For each review approved by a librarian, teens will receive one hour of volunteer credit.
Reviews may be edited for clarity and will list the reviewer's first name, last name initial, and grade, unless the reviewer specifies anonymity. Questions? Call 203-351-8242 or email [email protected].
In The Community
CLC Now Enrolling for Preschool
Children's Learning Centers of Fairfield County (CLC) is now enrolling in all preschool programs. CLC has eight locations in Stamford, offering hands-on learning and programs focused on health, nutrition and family support. Children receive two meals and a snack each day at no additional cost to families. Financial assistance is available based on eligibility. Enrollment information.
