Elf the Musical Jr. Auditions!

We are very excited to announce auditions for our FIRST PYTC Main Stage Show since 2020! Elf the Musical Jr is the story of Buddy the Elf, a human raised by elves after sneaking into Santa’s sleigh! Anyone between the ages of 10-18 is eligible to audition for this enchanting musical directed by Jeff Zavattero!

Here are some important dates to note for the show!

-High School Only Auditions: August 18, 4p-8p

-Ages 10-18 Auditions: August 21, 4p-8p

-Ages 10-18 Auditions: August 23, 4p-8p

-Callbacks (Invite Only): August 28, 4p-8p

-Rehearsals: September 13 - December 1; Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30p-7:30p, Saturdays 11a-2p

-Tech Rehearsals: December 4 - December 8, 4p-8p

Performances: December 9 - 18, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30p, Saturdays and Sundays at 2pm

-Cast Party: Sunday, December 18, 5p-7p

For the audition, please prepare a one minute upbeat monologue and a one minute cut of an upbeat holiday or musical song to be performed during your scheduled time.

Creatures of Impulse Auditions!

Creatures of Impulse will be holding auditions for the upcoming 2022-23 Season, and we’d love for YOU to be a part of it! All students entering grades 9-12 are encouraged to audition! If you have a love of theater or performing, improv is a fantastic outlet and learning opportunity for those looking to improve their ability to react quickly and truly listen to scene partners onstage. Creatures of Impulse is an award-winning improv troupe founded right here in the City of Pleasanton, entering it’s 15th season! If cast, there is a registration fee of $132, and an additional $40 for each run of shows you are cast in thereafter.

The High School Music Collaborative is growing! Now is your chance to be a part of High School Music Collaborative, HSMC Radio, or the brand new HSMC Cabaret! HSMC Cabaret is a year-round musical cabaret with performances throughout the school year!

For auditions, please prepare two contrasting songs (original songs welcomed!) to perform or upload if a digital submission

Summer Drama Camp Presents

Stage Lighting and Sound

Learn about theatre lighting and sound with the Firehouse Arts Center and Amador Theatre's modern equipment! Students will be able to use that knowledge and apply it to supporting our Summer Drama Camp productions, including Jungle Book Kids, Stinky Cheese Man, and an original teen-written one act! Work with our technicians to learn how to design a show to make it look and sound great!
