For one more weeks, the city is accepting applications for the Norcross Development Authority and Zoning Board of Appeals.

Norcross Development Authority

The NDA is created for nonprofit and public purposes as set forth in O.C.G.A. § 36-62-1 et seq., including but not limited to serving and providing investment capital to Low-Income Communities or Low-Income Persons as those terms are defined in the law and regulations of the Economic Development Administration, HUD, New Markets Tax Credit Program and other federal government programs. Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the City Hall 2nd Floor Conference Room.

Zoning Board of Appeals
The Zoning Board of Appeals exists to hear and decide appeals of any decision or determination made by the Community Development Director or Building Official in the enforcement, administration and interpretation of the Unified Development Ordinance and to hear appeals in specific cases where, owning to special conditions, a literal interpretation of the Unified Development Ordinance in an individual case will result in an unnecessary hardship. Meetings are held as necessary on the fourth Thursday of each at 6:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers.

Applications are due Monday, August 29th at 6:00 p.m. Please contact Deputy City Clerk Shayla Alexis ([email protected]) to submit your application to serve.
