The Gillioz presents a weekend celebrating America's art form - JAZZ. It's a weekend full of the sights and sounds that celebrate the past, present and future of jazz.

It all begins Friday night April 5 as the Gillioz lobby becomes the Jazz Cafe' featuring art on display featuring jazz legends, live music, a premium bar and food truck offerings from Don Tono Mexican Food and Smore-ish Killer Desserts!

TheTHIRDFloor will be open to tour the various Resident Companies, take in more art, view screenings of SATO48 shorts and more! PLUS - tours of the historic Gillioz Theatre at 6:00 & 7:30 PM.

Join us for a headline performance by Branford Marsalis & MOJO!

New Orleans-born Branford Marsalis is an award-winning saxophonist, band leader, featured classical soloist, and a film and Broadway composer. In the process, he has become a multi award-winning artist with three Grammys, a citation by the National Endowment for the Arts as a Jazz Master and an avatar of contemporary artistic excellence.

Now Marsalis takes the stage of the historic Gillioz Theatre as the headlining artist of the 2024 Gillioz Jazz Festival, sharing the stage with the Missouri Jazz Orchestra (MOJO).

There's a special VIP event in the Gallery at 6:30 PM that includes a private program, a plated meal and preferred seating for the Marsalis/MOJO event that follows in the theatre. VIP seating is limited.

Wizard of Oz: 2:00 PM

Finish the weekend with the whole family for a screening of the classic WIZARD OF OZ!

Stroll down our yellow brick road and join Dorothy with her colorful cast of characters in the epic adventure that reminds us all there is no place like home!

It's the perfect conclusion to a weekend celebrating America's art form - Jazz!

Admission to the Gillioz Jazz Cafe' and the Wizard of Oz are Free!
