Mark your calendars for the 27th Annual Arizona Songwriters Gathering on Saturday, January 27, at the Glendale Main Library from 10 AM-5 PM. This awesome event is open to performers, writers, and music enthusiasts of all ages, and here's the best part: it won't cost you a dime!

Picture this: multiple stages, 100+ live performances – sounds like a plan, right? Dive into open song sharing circles and don't miss the workshops by industry leaders like Robin Frederick, Tracey & Vance Marino, Pat Pattison and Shelly Peiken. They're covering everything from song critiques to the nitty-gritty of sync and metadata, the Music Licensing Collective, TV and film placements, prosody, digital audio workstation recording, and tips on building an independent music career.

Feeling the creative itch? Join the Songwriting Challenge hosted by Sandy Hathaway. Whip up an original song using one of four titles and showcase it at the Andy Hurlbut Memorial Ballad Tree performance area.

Feeling hungry? We've got you covered with food trucks for your sustenance throughout the day.

Special thanks go to the Arizona Commission on the Arts, which receives support from the State of Arizona and the National Endowment for the Arts, and the Arizona Songwriters Association for making this jam-packed day possible. In addition, thanks to Barnett Productions for the sound support and sponsorship.
