Kansas Commission on Disability Concerns
Purpose: The Kansas Commission on Disability Concerns’ (KCDC) vision is that all people with disabilities are entitled to be equal citizens and equal partners in Kansas society.
- Dr. Steve Miller, Parsons (reappointment)
- Rachel Mayberry, Wichita
911 Coordinating Council
Purpose: To monitor the delivery of 911 services, develop strategies for future enhancements to the 911 system and distribute available grant funds to Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs).
- Tony Foster, Eudora
Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board
Purpose: The mission is to protect the public’s health, safety and welfare from unlawful or unprofessional practitioners who fall under the board’s jurisdiction. To this end, the agency has defined the statutory credentialing qualifications by establishing, through rules and regulations, minimal educational and experiential requirements that applicants seeking credentialing in each of the regulated groups must satisfy before the board grants the applicable credential. Also, to this end, the board has defined statutorily prohibited conduct through rules and regulations and has defined those acts which constitute unprofessional or incompetent practice.
