DENVER- Today, Governor Polis signed bipartisan bills into law including a bill to help improve school safety in Colorado.

Governor Polis signed the following bills into law in ceremony:

    SB23-241 Creation Of Office Of School Safety - Representatives Shannon Bird and Rod Bockenfeld and Senators Jeff Bridges and Barbara Kirkmeyer

    HB23-1143 Federal Authorize Firearms For DACA Peace Officers - Representatives Cathy Kipp and Ryan Armagost, Senators Julie Gonzales and Barbara Kirkmeyer

    SB23-070 Mandatory School Resource Officer Training - Representatives Mary Young and Ryan Armagost, Senators Chris Kolker and Barbara Kirkmeyer

Governor Polis signed the following bills into law administratively:

    SB23-229 Statewide Behavioral Health Court Liaison Office - Representatives Emily Sirota and Rod Bockenfeld and Senators Jeff Bridges and Barbara Kirkmeyer

    SB23-182 Temporary Suspension Of Medicaid Requirements - Representatives Shannon Bird, Rose Pugliese, Senators Rachel Zenzinger and Barbara Kirkmeyer
