Applications Now Open for Frontline Worker Pay

Frontline Workers can apply for Frontline Worker Pay now through July 22 online at frontlinepay.mn.gov. Governor Walz signed Frontline Worker Payments into law in April to thank the Minnesotans who worked on the frontlines during the COVID-19 pandemic to keep our communities safe.

Governor Walz Celebrates New Investment in Mental Health Infrastructure

On Tuesday, Governor Walz celebrated a bill that will broaden mental health infrastructure for children and families across the state by increasing hospital bed capacity, supporting mental health care providers, funding mobile crisis services, and expanding mental health resources for our schools.

Governor Walz Announces Three Minnesota COVID-19 Testing Locations to Become Test-to-Treat Sites

On Wednesday, Governor Walz announced that state-run community COVID-19 testing sites in Brooklyn Park, Moorhead, and Duluth will become test-to-treat locations in the next week, allowing Minnesotans to get tested for COVID-19 and, if positive and determined to be high-risk, receive a prescription for medication at the same time.

Governor Walz Proclaims Great Outdoors Month

To celebrate Minnesota's commitment to conserving and protecting natural resources for future generations to enjoy, Governor Walz has proclaimed June Great Outdoors Month in the state of Minnesota. Last week, during the first week of Great Outdoors Month, Governor Walz signed a bill that will fund 80 environment and natural resources projects to help protect Minnesota’s air, water, land, fish, wildlife, and other outdoor resources.
