Whalers, Lancers & Saints Exhibit

This exhibit presents an opportunity for local students to show in a professional gallery setting, sell their work, learn about the business of art, and appreciate the work of their peers in this community effort.

Since the first student show, Hygienic has written artist commission checks to over two hundred New London and Waterford High School students totaling several thousand dollars. This will be the second time St. Bernard High School is participating in this exhibition and the first time for the Li & Zhai Art School - originally put on by New London and Waterford High Schools. The show runs to January 21st.

Crafts & Cocktails

Join us for our monthly get-together called Crafts and Cocktails. You will learn how to make a signature craft cocktail to enjoy while making the craft project of the month.

FLUID ART: This form of abstract art uses acrylics with a runny consistency to create psychedelic paintings. There are endless creative possibilities thanks to different ways to combine acrylic paints and there's something so satisfying about watching it spill across a surface.

Cocktail of the Month: GOOD TIDINGS

The social health benefits of creativity are not a new concept, people have been experiencing it for years!

Those that create in the presence of others are:

-More likely to have wider social networks

-More likely to have a sense of purpose and belonging in a group

-More likely to have a reduced sense of social isolation and marginalization.

Event fee of $10 includes craft materials, one craft cocktail w/the recipe card to take home. Space is limited so register soon at hygienic.org

Date: Thursday, January 19th from 5-7 PM
