Fashion Carnival

Join us for a lively night of fashion, music, and cool vendors! The fun starts at Fashion Carnival when the gates open at 7 PM TONIGHT!

Coordinated by Jen Hall, fashion designer and owner of the brand Vintage N' Vibe, this annual extravaganza is New London's premier fashion event. This year we will be showcasing the best of New London's Streetwear with an eccentric high-fashion flair. The night will be full of live music and co-hosted by Mikey V of Jammin' 1077.

Hygienic Filmwerks

Hygienic Art launches its new filmmaker initiative, FILMWERKS, with the Indie Film Series screening of “Eddie Presley” on the new Art Park digital big screen.

A Zoom Q&A from Hollywood with lead actor and writer, Duane Whitaker will follow the screening. Hygienic Filmwerks is a cooperative of filmmakers, writers, actors, production crew and all manner of filmmaking enthusiasts who desire to network, collaborate on film projects or just screen and discuss indie films. All film enthusiasts are welcome to join in on the eclectic Indie Film Series screenings.

ABOUT THE FILM:

An Elvis impersonator with a wounded psyche, unflinching in his quest to keep the King's spirit alive bets it all on one night of glory, a headlining spot at dingy Tinseltown dive.

Glaucoma Suspect

Join us for a night of reggae vibes with this killer crew. Glaucoma Suspect performs all things roots rock reggae and some in between. It's another free night of music at the Art Park in downtown New London. Bring some friends and get your Summertime groove on.

Johnny Nicholas and Katie Shore

Join us for a rich gumbo of blues, Southwest Lousiana soul, and Texas swing and Honky Tonk with Grammy Nominated Johnny Nicholas and the lead fiddle player and female vocalist for the 10-time Grammy Award-winning band Asleep at the Wheel, Katie Shore. During the pandemic, she and fellow Asleep at the Wheel alum member Johnny Nicholas teamed up as a dynamic duo to present a soulful high-energy performance.

Naked Canvas: Candyland

It's oh so sweet! Hygienic's 7th annual Naked Canvas body painting competition returns. Naked Canvas is a live body painting competition held inside the Frank Loomis Palmer Amphitheater at the Art Park.

Immerse yourself in a candy-coated dreamscape inside the Frank Loomis Palmer Amphitheater with life-sized candy decor and models painted to resemble characters from a candy-filled fantasy world.

Artists have 5 hours to paint their models before each model walks the runway to showcase each masterpiece. This runway event has sold out every year so come early to get in! Guests and attendees will have the opportunity to see the artists putting the finishing touches on their models. Join us for a fun night of art, entertainment, and a runway show unlike no other!
