Patterns are everywhere in nature whether shown subtly on the lines of tiny green leaves, crevices on tree trunks, and even on animals through the use of camouflage. We are hard-wired to collect this data and also analyze it.

As a result, it inspires people to create their own unique patterns: Patterns in their art. Please join us for Patterns In Nature, an exciting and nature-inspired art exhibition on Friday, July 15th from 7-10 PM featuring the art of:

The Silks are a true grit rock and roll band out of Providence, Rhode Island. You could say The Silks are the rock and roll band from Providence. With two consecutive Boston Music Awards for “Blues Artist of the Year” 2016 and 2017 The Silks are well on their way to achieving a rightful place in rock n roll history, or at least folklore. Wait ’til you read the book, you can’t make this sh*t up!

The Silks deliver honest sounds of the blues-based rock n roll variety. You’ve got guitar pyrotechnics galore from frontman Tyler-James Kelly. Chicken-pickin’ or taking a soaring lead break, it’s quickly apparent Kelly is on a whole’nother level.

Praised by NPR for their "upbeat, poppy vibe; energetic, driving rhythms; and virtuosic solos,” Twisted Pine explores a sound they call Americana funk, taking traditional music in exhilarating directions. Their bluegrass is jazzy, their indie folk is poppy, and their grooves are funky.

The members of Twisted Pine are:

Kathleen Parks - Fiddle & Lead Vocals

Dan Bui - Mandolin

Chris Sartori - Bass

Anh Phung - Flute

Their latest release is the cosmic full-length Right Now from Signature Sounds Recordings. "They were once bluegrass," writes The Boston Globe, "but ... this Boston band has become something else, a wider version of string band, boundary jumpers akin to outfits like Punch Brothers, Nickel Creek, and Crooked Still.”
