When Arizona Cardinals Owner Michael Bidwill pitched the idea of an Arizona Civics Matters competition to Governor Doug Ducey, the response was immediate. The governor was all in.

The competition – inspired by the governor's push to expand civics education in Arizona's classrooms – offers Arizona school kids the opportunity to visit Washington, D.C. to see heart of our representative democracy at work.

That vision became a reality today when the governor joined Bidwill and 241 students on the trip to the nation's capital. Watch a video of today's events below!
