Iowa Communications Network Proclamation: 30 Years of Service

Des Moines -- Governor Kim Reynolds signed a proclamation declaring Friday, January 13, a celebration of 30 Years of Service for the Iowa Communications Network (ICN). The proclamation highlights the valuable and strong broadband services benefiting Iowans in all 99 counties.

“The ICN is still in great demand and will continue to be needed in the future to provide services throughout Iowa,” said Randy Goddard, ICN Executive Director.“This proclamation helps illustrate to Iowans that the ICN continues to evolve and is a robust broadband network providing valuable services to Iowans through the customers we serve.”

On Jan 13th, ICN provides valuable Data, Internet, Voice, Security, and Consultation services to education, healthcare, public safety, and government sectors throughout Iowa.

During 2023, ICN will be celebrating 30 years of services by highlighting historic information, article snapshots, and customer impact statements about the Network.
