Thank You!

We set out to raise $68,000 in September to support Kala's core programs and to invest in artists and creative exchange. We raised $71,133! Thank you - we are so grateful for every bit. Big thanks and much love and appreciation from all of us at Kala. Bring on October and a new fiscal year!

Artist-in-Residence Application Deadline - October 15, 2022

Join Kala's creative community and apply to become an artist-in-residence (AIR)! Applications are due via slideroom on October 15th. Kala's AIR program is a highly subsidized fee-based artist residency that provides 24-hour access to Kala's printshop, digital lab, black and white darkroom, and project spaces as available. Resident artists have 24/7 access to shared printmaking and digital lab, individual storage space including a flat file and cubby, and opportunities to participate in Kala exhibitions. We have limited housing available (a 2-bedroom unit across the street from Kala) for artists coming from outside of Northern California.
