Public Comment Period Open for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Proposal

The Kansas Department of Commerce released their announcement of proposed funding for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. Lt. Governor Toland spoke with me about the proposed change to allocate $1 million dollars for Commercial Rehabilitation which would allow the money to be used for making public accommodation buildings accessible.  These would be businesses and non-profits.  The comment period is open now.  I have submitted comments already in support of this proposal.
