From: City Of DearbornThe Dearborn Public Library will host Lindsey Kerr, Michigan State University Extension’s Consumer Horticulture Educator for Wayne County, for a virtual Zoom program on Thursday, October 6 at 6:30 p.m. She will cover disease prevention in home gardens, dealing with garden pests, avoiding damage to plants this winter, and setting the stage for a healthy growing season next year.
The MSU Extension has several offices in the Metro Detroit area that provide instruction and resources to the public on environmental and agricultural practices, as well as small business and community development advice. Find more information at www.msue.msu.edu/wayne.
