Bootball Tournament Kicks Off in a Few Weeks, Deadline in Two Weeks

The deadline for the Feb. 4 Bootball Tournament is creeping up in two weeks on Jan. 31. Make sure to get your 10v10 coed team registered by then to compete 5:30-10 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, under the lights at Bicentennial Park. Bootball is essentially kickball, but played in the snow, wearing winter boots and kicking a giant tennis ball. Fun, fitness and the potential for hilarious results and championships all in one place! Sign up today!

Greenmead History Lecture Series Goes to the Birds

Learn a little something this winter/spring with our History Lecture Series Jan. 23-May 8 at Greenmead Historical Park. All winter/spring sessions are free drop-in programs that take place at 2 p.m. The first one is less than one week away!

  • Mon, March 6 - It's a Woman's World: Trailblazing Women in Politics

Get Crafty with KidCreate

Join KidCreate's award-winning art classes for a new set of crafty fun this winter, starting with a Sensational Slime event for ages 4-11 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8.

The 1-6 year olds will get their chance to create a Valentine’s Love Bug from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 13, and come back a month later for a Date with Dino at the same time Monday, March 27.

Keep the mess with us at the Kirksey Recreation Center, but take the finished craft projects home! Limited spots are available for each class, so sign up today.
