Affordable Tickets for World-Class Opera

Opera is one of the world's most elaborate art forms—there's a full orchestra, chorus, sets, costumes and of course, singers—and some people believe you have to break the bank to come see an opera. We want to let you know that those beliefs are false! At LA Opera, our prices start under $20 a seat and when those sell out (as they often do), we have a variety of options to get low-cost seats to shows. These include Opera U, which offers $25 seats for high school and college students; the 30 Club, which is $30 tickets for those 30 and under; Community Circle, which you can read about below; and more. Click link below to learn more and we'll see you at the Opera.

Your Operatic Sounds of the Summer

What do operas like Salome, A Midsummer's Night's Dream, and Porgy and Bess all have in common? They all take place during one of LA's favorite seasons, summer. While we love summer as much as anyone here at LA Opera, we can't help but feel an operatic hole our heart. While we wait for that hole to fill once our season starts, join us in exploring some musical masterpieces that encapsulate what we love about opera and summer.
