LIVERMORE, CA – (September 6, 2022) – Livermore Valley Arts is pleased to announce a charitable contribution in the amount of $20,000 from partner Las Positas College for support of LVA’s 2022-2023 Community Cultural Celebrations Series. As part of the contribution, LPC will be acknowledged on all promotional and marketing materials for these events, as well as have a presence at each event for awareness of their own educational opportunities, along with LPC students, faculty and staff having the opportunity to participate. This announcement is another indication of the inclusive, working-together spirit here in the Tri-Valley, with Las Positas College supporting accessibility to the arts, a tenant of Livermore Valley Arts’ Cultural Celebration Series, as both organizations believe that everyone in the Tri-Valley should have the opportunity to experience the arts, at whatever age and whatever level they are, these free events on the Bankhead Plaza for the whole family. Livermore Valley Arts offers educational activities and classes and performances at schools and at the Bankhead Theater. This generous support from Las Positas College is for the current fiscal year, ending on June 30, 2023.
