Maine Women's Lobby Newsletter - September 2022

Clubs and Organizations

September 19, 2022

From: Maine Women's Policy Center

Hi Friend,

The team soaked in the last days of summer on the Kennebec River last Friday. See our new tik tok account for more antics!

Join us *Tuesday* at the Governor’s mansion to support our Girls’ Day at the Statehouse past and future! See below for more details.

Care work, caregiving, and care infrastructure - like paid family and medical leave, childcare, and the care workforce - are deeply tied to gender equity. That’s why this election season, we are asking our community to be care voters, and to support candidates who support care. Can you join us to get out the care vote by phone- or text-banking, canvassing, letters to the editor? Let us know! There is a role for everyone, and no experience is required.

Speaking of voting... are you registered to vote? It’s time to make sure! Do you need an absentee ballot? All the information you need is here.

In Solidarity,
