On Mondays we will be offering crafts to take and make at home:
8/1 Bonsai book and kit
8/15 "JOY'&"FUN"To Color and display at home
8/22 Book Marks - to color at home.

DIABETES:Exercise and Nutrition.

Wednesday, August 10 at 6pm
Join us for the fourth presentation in our series with Certified Diabetes Educator, Linda Carver. In this presentation, Ms. Carver will discuss the exercise and nutrition strategies for coping with Diabetes.

Lotus Lantern Workshop
The Korean Spirit and Culture Promotion Project (KSCPP) will give step-by-step instructions on how to make a lovely lotus flower lantern using colored paper and a pre-made wire frame. At the same time, the participants will learn about Korea’s unique history and culture. A short documentary film will be played toward the end of the class. This will be a hybrid event--the presenter will be joining us via Zoom while the participants are at the library. There is a $4 suggested donation. Space is limited and registration is required.

Join us for a round table of sharing resources and tips. This monthwe will focus on sources of historical maps.

VHS TO DVD SERVICE IS BACK!!!
Are all your old home movies on VHS tapes that are hard to watch or share? Reserve our VHS to DVD converter to transfer your VHS tapes. There will be a staff member on hand to answer questions. Re-writeable DVDs cost $1 each. This is a time consuming process so bookings are in 2 hour increments. When you register, please leave phone number so staff can confirm your appointment. Once you are familiar with the procedure, it is possible to book the machine for other time-slots but there may not be a staff member available to answer questions outside the official appointments. Our machine is built for full size VHS tapes though we do have an adapter for the VHS-s tapes, we cannot do 8 mm video tapes.

Please note that copyrighted material can not be converted.
