Meridian Township - Election Inspectors Needed for August 2 Primary Election

Meridian Township, MI – Meridian Township is seeking individuals interested in being Election Inspectors for the upcoming August 2 Primary Election. Election Inspectors are a valuable piece of our democracy, ensuring free and fair elections for all.

Serving as an Election Inspector on Election Day is a paid position, which includes training on proper election procedures. Election Inspectors will receive $12 per hour worked and $25 per mandatory training class they attend.

Any registered Michigan voter over the age of 18 is eligible to work on Election Day. Any Inspector ages 16 or 17 may also work on Election Day until 10:00 pm.
