MOCA Mourns with Monterey Park, Half Moon Bay, and All

The Board and staff of the Museum of Chinese in America are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of the 11 victims and all of those who were injured from Saturday's mass shooting in Monterey Park, California, and the 7 victims from Monday's mass shooting in Half Moon Bay, California. That these tragedies occurred during the lunar new year holiday—a time of family gatherings, new beginnings and renewed hope—makes these tragic events especially painful. Our hearts go out to the families of the victims who lost their lives too soon, and our thoughts and prayers are with the Monterey Park and Half Moon Bay communities during this difficult time.
