Moraine Valley Foundation to host annual golf outing at Cog Hill

The Moraine Valley Foundation will host its 42^nd Annual Golf Outing on Wednesday, Sept. 20, at Cog Hill Golf and Country Club in Lemont.

Tickets are $195 per golfer, which includes 18 holes of golf on Course No. 1 or 3, along with food and beverages throughout the day. Registration opens at 7:30 a.m., with a shotgun start time at 9 a.m. Golfers also can purchase an All-in-FORE-Fun Wristband to play games on the course and have a chance to win prizes. Golfers and supporters can enjoy dinner in the late afternoon at the awards ceremony that will wrap up the day. Raffle tickets for the 50/50 Split the Pot can be purchased in advance and during the event for a chance to win money and other prizes.

“We are excited to again offer our popular golf outing to raise money for scholarships to help Moraine Valley students,” said Lisa Rispoli, special events and donor relations manager. “This fun event includes games and special activities throughout the day in addition to the opportunity for golfers to play on a fantastic course and network while making a difference for students who are pursuing higher education.”

The Foundation also will host a silent auction, which will be open for bidding Sept. 11 to 20. The Foundation is accepting donations from businesses and individual donors who would like to contribute services, experiences or gift baskets to be offered in the auction.
