Sponsorships still available for Moraine Valley Foundation’s annual golf outing

The Moraine Valley Community College will host its 41st annual golf outing on Wednesday, Sept. 21, at Cog Hill Golf and Country Club in Lemont, with all proceeds going to support student scholarships.

Although tickets for golfing have sold out, individuals can support the outing in other ways, such as buying tickets to the post-golf celebration dinner at Cog Hill (begins at 3 p.m.) for $75, buying raffle tickets or bidding on items in an online silent auction, which runs from Sept. 12 to 22. Some of the items available include a private Santa visit, a one-night stay with $100 food and beverage credit at the Fairmont Chicago Millennium Park, foursomes at various golf courses, winery and restaurant certificates, jewelry and much more.

Businesses and individuals also can support the event by becoming a sponsor. Available sponsorships range from the post-golf dinner and awards sponsorship for $1,500; beverage cart sponsorships for $1,000; lunch or game sponsorships for $500; or hole sponsorships for $350.
