Page-to-Screen Book Club

Join Will for our new page-to-screen book club!
This month, we will be discussing Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn, and its 2014 movie adaptation. Read the book, watch the movie, and come ready to talk about them both!
Adults only. Register everyone that will be participating at this LINK
Limited copies of the book and DVD will be available for check out at the adult circulation desk. The movie can also be streamed on HBO, Hulu, or Amazon Prime.

Spend some time in our new teen space! Our Teen Room will be open twice a month for anyone 12-18 to drop in, hang out with friends, work on assignments, or just relax and read. Come check out our comfortable seating, borrow a lap desk or some noise-canceling headphones, or play on our Nintendo Switch!

Tweens are welcome to play this one-shot role-playing game of
Monster Slayers: The Heroes of Hesiod!
In the village of Hesiod, where you all live, kids are brought to a cabin every year for several days to finish training in the ways of fighting and to see who has a heart of an adventurer.

Wander down to the New Fairfield Public Library to tap your feet to the tunes of SJK Jazz at Sip & Stroll on May 20 from 4-5 pm.  The Friends of the Library will participate in this event by sponsoring SJK Jazz, whose musicians will play Great American Songbook tunes and other well-known jazz standards.  So, sip, tap and enjoy.  No registration required.
