Flowing through Time Opens at the Museum of Work & Culture
Take a voyage down the Blackstone River in Flowing Through Time, a new permanent addition to the Museum. A cutting-edge digital interactive exhibit, Flowing Through Time allows visitors to explore stories of the Blackstone and its watershed over thousands of years by focusing on the function of the water power that made the mills possible, the communities that have lived with and been impacted by the river, and the long-term ecological impact the industrial era has had on the water and wildlife.

The Color of Care Screening
Tuesday, November 15, 5:30
Join the Rhode Island Historical Society and the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University for a screening of the Smithsonian Channel documentary The Color of Care, followed by a panel discussion featuring leaders from Rhode Island’s health care community.
The Color of Care chronicles how people of color suffer from systemically substandard health care. COVID-19 exposed what they have long understood and lived: they do not receive the same level of care.
